CAMMUA which stands for Couture Academy of Modern Makeup Artistry is a makeup studio which offers education workshops on the field of makeup. We offer a certificate of completion when you complete our workshops. Our workshops are hands on to ensure that all techniques are learned properly. We strive in supplying our participants with the best makeup and tools in the industry. The focus is high fashion, hi-def, bridal and print makeup.

Her Method:
Over the last decade GIa has refined and masterd the art of teaching makeup. Her teaching method is now being offered at select locations in California and will be expanding across the US beginning in January of 2012. She has developed a style and technique that will train any beginner or experienced artist the methods of applying makeup that will ensure picture perfect makeup every time.
She has mastered the art of matching foundation with only a few shades of foundation and correctors to ensure you will have everyones skin tones covered. Her knowledge of makeup products and formulas far exceeds any many artist out there.
Gia is currently working with several makeup companies to co-brand several types of makeup colors and formulas for the professional makeup artist.
Her teaching techniques will ensure that any artist ,beginner or experienced, will have the knowledge and skills to apply a perfect makeup application every time.
She has spent many hours perfecting her skills and techniques to ensure that anyone who she trains to pass on her teachings is fully qualified.
Our philosophy is Simple & Affordable. Workshops hours are from 10 am to 5pm weekdays and Saturdays. We do offer pre-payment plans. We accept Checks, Cashiers checks and cash.

Tours are offered on appointment only so please call 949-798-0010 to schedule a tour. Class size is from 4 to 6 maximum to insure the best training.
So what does a certificate of completion do for someone? A certificate is proof that you completed a certain amount of hours and know the basics of makeup, hygiene and set etiquette. It's true that you don't need formal training to be a makeup artist, but it shows when you go on jobs if you really know the industry. The certificate also allows you to get discounts at industry makeup stores in the Los Angeles area. Upon completion participants will be give a list of locations to where they can shop at 20% to 40% off.
